See Sebastian Stan Portray Donald Trump in First Trailer for ‘The Apprentice’

As a history enthusiast who has always been fascinated by the rise and fall of powerful figures, I must say that the trailer for “The Apprentice” has piqued my interest immensely. Having grown up in the ’80s myself, I can vividly remember the impact Donald Trump made on the real estate business during those years. The casting seems spot-on, with Sebastian Stan embodying Trump’s charisma and brashness remarkably well.

The first trailer for The Apprentice is out, offering a preview of Sebastian Stan’s portrayal of Donald Trump decades before the presidency. Set in the 1970s and 80s, the film charts Trump’s rise in the real estate business in New York, working alongside cutthroat attorney Roy Cohn (Jeremy Strong).

In the upcoming production, Maria Bakalova takes on the role of Ivana Trump, who was Donald Trump’s first spouse, while Martin Donovan portrays Fred Trump, Donald’s father.

Ali Abbasi was the director of a movie that was scripted by Gabriel Sherman. This film borrows its title from the business-oriented TV series Trump hosted around the turn of the millennium, where contestants vied for an opportunity to market one of Trump’s real estate ventures.

Stan is saying that this will likely be the most remarkable building, not just in the country, but potentially in the city or even the entire world,” Stan expresses during his phone conversation before purchasing The Commodore Hotel.

Watch the trailer for The Apprentice above. The film premieres in the US on October 11.
