SEGA To Release ‘Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2’ Game In 2025

As a long-time fan who has been following the Demon Slayer saga since its inception, this news about the second game, “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2,” has sent my heart racing! I remember waiting eagerly for the first game, and it didn’t disappoint. Now, we get to delve deeper into the world of Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and all the other characters we’ve grown to love.

SEGA has revealed plans to launch the sequel to their Demon Slayer fighting action-adventure game in the year 2025.

In collaboration with CyberConnect2, the game “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles” was initially launched in autumn 2021. This game encompassed both the initial season and the “Mugen Train Arc” within its narrative mode. However, it’s worth noting that while additional DLC content later made Tengen, Daki, Gyutaro playable characters, as well as new iterations of Tanjiro, Zenitsu Inosuke, and Nezuko from the “Entertainment District Arc”, the actual arc itself was not integrated into the game’s narrative mode.

The upcoming game continues the story, encompassing events from the Entertainment District Storyline, Swordsmith Village Saga, and Hashira Training Chronicles – resuming where the previous game ended. Approximately 40 characters will be accessible for player control in VS Mode, including all nine Hashiras.

Although no specific launch dates have been disclosed as of now, it’s been confirmed that “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2” is set to debut in North America and Europe around the year 2025. You’ll be able to play this game on a variety of platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch family of systems.
