As a long-time fan who has grown up with Selena Gomez gracing our screens since her Disney days, I must say that her recent foray into politics, fashion, and nostalgia has left me utterly enamored. The sight of Selena dashing off to vote in a sparkly red dress, reminiscent of Vanna White’s iconic Wheel of Fortune gown, was nothing short of breathtaking.
As Election Day draws near, I’m getting ready to fulfill my civic responsibility by exercising my right to vote – and I’ve decided to beat the rush by voting early. Just like Selena Gomez did, if reports are true! She was probably one of the most stylish individuals to deposit their ballot, rocking a dazzling red dress that gave off some serious Vanna White vibes. Quite the sight to behold as she performed her civic duty!
On her way to an event for “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” which was scheduled to premiere on October 29, Selena Gomez decided to make a small detour to drop off her ballot. Despite being dressed up for the premiere of the spinoff of her popular 2000s show, she casually strolled down the street in her red pumps and happily exercised her right to vote. She even shared this moment on TikTok, so be sure to check it out!

As a devoted admirer, it was heartwarming to see Selena Gomez seemingly waving to the team at the food truck nearby. Oh, how intriguing it would be to catch a glimpse into their thoughts when they spotted the actress and chart-topping singer heading to the polls, all dressed up in formal attire!
It’s doubtful that Vanna White often needs to run while wearing her beautiful Wheel of Fortune outfits each weeknight, but Selena Gomez still managed to evoke the spirit of the renowned game show co-host, particularly when she flaunted her “I Voted” sticker on her handbag.
After a quick pause to fulfill her national obligations, Selena Gomez resumed her journey towards the debut of “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place” spinoff, which took place on October 28 at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre. Although the crowd wasn’t the initial group to admire her stunning crimson gown (a special mention to food truck workers), Selena Gomez continued to stun in a custom Rodarte dress, as reported by Harper’s Bazaar.
I was totally captivated by the crimson sequined gown Selena Gomez donned, boasting a sleek strapless design and a 3D structured neckline. It flared elegantly at the hips, while the asymmetrical skirt cascaded gracefully to just below her knee, revealing a thigh-high slit on her left side. Her shoulder-length hair was sleekly straight, and she opted for minimal jewelry, sporting only multiple rings on her fingers (sadly, no sign of an engagement ring from boyfriend Benny Blanco). To top it off, she rocked ruby red pumps with a pointed toe, which added a touch of style to the outfit – even after taking them for a jog earlier in the day!
At that gathering, I got to catch up with my Waverly Place co-star, David Henrie, from our Wizards days. We’re both serving as executive producers for this spinoff, and he’s coming back as a series regular too. I’m set to make appearances in several episodes. Starting next Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on Disney Channel, two episodes will air each week, but if you’ve got Disney+, you can already stream the first eight!
Selena Gomez seems really enthusiastic about the show’s comeback, which likely added to her joyful voting video. Just as dressing up can sometimes make even routine tasks more enjoyable, I’m excited to see more dazzling outfits from Gomez on Election Day. She’s set the bar high, Vanna White; let’s see what you’ll be wearing to the polls!
