Seth Rollins Reveals How Stone Cold Steve Austin Inspired His Baby News!

Seth Rollins is temporarily hosting NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” while also preparing for upcoming WWE events such as WrestleMania 41, and wrestling enthusiasts are enjoying some fascinating anecdotes from the star. Among these stories was an unanticipated account where he attributed Stone Cold Steve Austin as the reason for having a child with his wife and fellow superstar Becky Lynch.

In December of 2020, approximately nine months after a significant date in professional wrestling, Lynch welcomed their daughter Roux into the world. This date, the 16th of March, is often celebrated as Stone Cold Day within the WWE, due to Steve Austin’s iconic “Austin 3:16” promo. If it falls on a Monday, you might find Austin on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown, and remarkably, this fell on a Monday Night Raw during the peak of COVID-19 lockdowns. Seth Rollins later discussed that fateful night and how it eventually led to him becoming a father (as reported by WrestlingInc.com).

Among all Stone Cold-related experiences, the one that stands out as my favorite is the story of how he played a role in me becoming a father. This brings back memories! Let’s rewind to March 2020, when COVID-19 brought the world to a halt. The first WWE show post-COVID shutdown was on 3/16 Raw. Traditionally, someone would share drinks with Stone Cold in the ring. At that time, Becky Lynch, who was then the hottest name in professional wrestling, joined Stone Cold for a few beers. The night ended, and she announced, laughing, “I think it’s about time I take some time off to have a baby.” It’s unclear if she would have made that decision without Stone Cold Steve Austin by her side.

Becky Lynch seemed to enjoy her drinks in the ring alongside Stone Cold Steve Austin, saying something along the lines of “That should keep me going for the next nine months.” Subsequently, she decided to start a family with Seth Rollins. It appears that unlike what some fans might call Stone Cold’s approach to “wasting beer,” Lynch chose a different path, and the story continues from there!

It’s quite amusing to reflect on the segment now, as it appears Becky Lynch consumed more beer than she spilled during that moment. Truly remarkable, considering she managed to drink two beers simultaneously, keeping most of it off her body – a feat The Texas Rattlesnake couldn’t seem to pull off.

Viewing that video sparked a thought: It’d be fantastic to witness Stone Cold Steve Austin opening beers and delivering Stunners in the ring once more, perhaps even at WrestleMania 41. However, considering his impromptu bout with Kevin Owens years back was his last official match, it seems unlikely that he’ll return for another one. Yet, I can’t help but dream about him facing The Rock one final time!

Currently, it appears The Rock won’t wrestle at WrestleMania, instead teaming up with John Cena to dethrone Cody Rhodes in Las Vegas. The Champion has declared that he aims to destroy wrestling upon breaking Ric Flair’s overall championship record, and even taunted The Nature Boy in his recent promo on Monday Night Raw. Ric Flair responded, but I can’t help but wonder what Stone Cold would do if Cena were to target him. Perhaps Cody could reach out to the legend and ask for his assistance in the upcoming bout?

There’s still a bit of time until WrestleMania 41, scheduled for April 19th and 20th. I’m really looking forward to discovering what exciting plans WWE has in store as we approach the grand event, and of course, I’m eagerly anticipating any surprises they might have in store for us.
