In its dramatic closing scene, the guild master Momonga unexpectedly finds himself unable to log out, instead finding himself inexplicably trapped within a realm where non-player characters (NPCs) start exhibiting distinct personalities. In this reborn form as the mighty sorcerer Ainz Ooal Gown, he ascends to a position of power, ruling over the very essence of death itself.
