Actress Mamta Kulkarni, well-known in Bollywood for many years, is progressing towards the title of Mahamandleshwar within the Kinnar Akhada. Just yesterday (January 24, 2025), she conducted a ‘pind daan’ ceremony in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh as part of the ongoing Maha Kumbh event.

According to Laxmi Narayan, Acharya Mahamandleshwar of Kinnar Akhada, Mamta Kulkarni is being appointed as a Mahamandleshwar by our organization. She has now been given the name Shri Yamai Mamta Nandgiri. As we speak, all the necessary rituals are currently being performed. Narayan added that he has been in contact with Mamta Kulkarni for the past one and a half years.

It’s up to the actress to choose and portray any religious figure in her performances. On January 25, 2025, prior to her coronation as Mahamandaleshwar, she performed the necessary rituals at a sacred event.

Actress Mamta, known for her role in Aashiq Awara, has just come back to India after a 25-year absence. When asked about the alleged Rs 2000 crore drug case involving Vicky Goswami, she declared that she had no involvement in his illegal activities or the drug trafficking affair. She clarified that she wasn’t aware of who Vicky was meeting with in Kenya, and it was the police who included her name in the case. Mamta also emphasized that the court has exonerated her from any misconduct in this case.
