Shah Rukh Khan should keep his promise of recommending Aadesh Shrivastava’s son in industry, claims late singer’s wife Vijayta: ‘God has given him…’

As an ardent fan who has followed the lives and careers of these Bollywood legends for decades, I find myself deeply moved by Vijayta Pandit’s heartfelt plea to Shah Rukh Khan. Her story is a poignant testament to the power of friendship, loyalty, and the enduring bond between artists.

A well-known music composer named Aadesh Shrivastava passed away in 2015 following a struggle with cancer. His wife, Vijayta Pandit, who is recognized for her roles as an actress and playback singer in Bollywood, particularly her part in Love Story (1981), recently made a heartfelt appeal to Shah Rukh Khan. She asked him to fulfill his pledge of assisting in launching her son, Avitesh, into the world of Bollywood. She recounted the commitment made to her late husband and emphasized, “God has blessed him abundantly, so now it’s time for him to honor his promise.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Vijayta Pandit expressed her dismay that neither Shah Rukh Khan nor his team have replied to her efforts to reach out to them. As the lone guardian nurturing her son Avitesh, she feels a heavy burden of responsibility to aid him in achieving success, following the passing of Aadesh.

Contemplating the instance when Aadesh indicated to SRK in the hospital, gesturing towards Avitesh, she feels it’s now appropriate for her son to take on main roles. Regardless of her repeated attempts, such as contacting Pooja Dadlani, SRK’s secretary, without response, Vijayta continues to admire SRK, referring to him as a compassionate and sincere individual.

She mentioned that she’s spoken up on the matter, but nothing has changed since then. She attempted to follow up and managed to get Pooja Dadlani’s number, which she dialed several times, but there was no answer. SRK is said to be an exceptional individual, a genuinely kind boy.

Vijayta Pandit nostalgically recounted her initial meeting with Shah Rukh Khan while they were working on Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. She paid a visit to his humble abode on Carter Road alongside Jatin and Lalit, where they received a heartwarming reception from SRK, who was delighted to see them. The house, nestled within an older building, boasted a straightforward layout with mattresses replacing sofas in the compact living room.

Gauri Khan, her husband, provided refreshing beverages while Shah Rukh Khan excitedly discussed his deep respect for her accomplishments, mentioning too that even small Mumbai residences can feel cramped. This moment underscored the humble origins of one of Bollywood’s most prominent figures.

Vijayta mused about how Shah Rukh Khan was merely beginning his career when she initially encountered him, and now, having reached incredible heights, even owning the legendary Mannat mansion. She stated that with all the accolades he has garnered, it is past due for him to fulfill the pledge made to Aadesh. “Given all the blessings he’s received, it’s high time he honored his commitment. I’m not suggesting they cast him in a movie; instead, they should simply help facilitate an audition process,” she expressed.

As a lifestyle expert, I recently had an enlightening conversation with Vijayta, who shared insights about her talented son Avitesh. He’s been tirelessly working on collaborations with renowned artists such as Akon and French Montana. Yet, despite his efforts, she voiced her concern that the film industry isn’t providing him the necessary support he deserves. With her husband Aadesh no longer here, she emphasizes the importance of others stepping forward to assist Avitesh in his journey towards success.

Vijayta remembered the moment when Aadesh, on his deathbed, grasped Shah Rukh Khan’s hand in the hospital and signaled for him to take care of Avitesh. Now, she’s finding it hard to reach Shah Rukh and implores him not to forget their bond. Vijayta pointed out that Avitesh, who symbolizes her family’s future, requires support, and she proposes that Shah Rukh could help by producing a film for him under Red Chillies Entertainment.
