Shalini Passi, an art collector and philanthropist from Delhi, has recently garnered attention following her appearance on Bollywood Wives Season 3. In a recent conversation, she voiced her worries regarding the growing number of young girls opting for Botox treatments, highlighting that it can be harmful because their bodies are still developing.
In a conversation with Hauterrfly, Shalini Passi voiced her apprehensions about an increasing number of girls aged 18 to 19 opting for treatments such as Botox. She clarified, “It appears that this has turned into a trend among young women in their late teens getting Botox and similar procedures. I believe it’s inappropriate because your body is still developing at that age. Even delaying these procedures until the age of 22 isn’t entirely correct.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed that many young women experience anxiety during hormonal fluctuations, which can persist for around two to three years. “I see so many girls feeling overwhelmed by hormonal changes these days,” I often say. “These transitions last for about 2-3 years and eventually stabilize.
Shalini stressed the importance of self-acceptance, pointing out that genuine confidence is built upon acknowledging and appreciating our inherent qualities, such as a grandmother’s hair or a father’s nose. She encouraged the younger generation to be mindful that the lifestyles they admire are frequently crafted and may not reflect true authenticity as much as they seem.
Shalini Passi has garnered considerable notice since she joined the current season of Netflix’s Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. During this run, she was paired with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, sister of Ranbir Kapoor, and Kalyani Chawla. Shalini introduced an intriguing element to the series by contributing her unique style to the Delhi-based group.
She’s gained significant recognition in public, known for her courageous and flamboyant character that transcends her trendy wardrobe. She’s become a symbol of self-acceptance, encouraging others to let go of harmful feelings, as she thinks these can impact both mental wellness and physical appearance.
In Delhi lives Shalini, an art collector, philanthropist, and prominent socialite. Her husband is Sanjay Passi, the wealthy chairman of Pasco Group. They exchanged vows at her young age of 20, and together they have a son named Robin Passi.
