Shanghai Fashion Week SS25 Street Style

As someone who has been immersed in the vibrant world of fashion for years, I must say that Shanghai Fashion Week SS25 was an exhilarating spectacle! The energy and creativity that radiated from the city were electrifying, and it was a delight to witness Chinese designers like Xander Zhou, Office H, SHUSHU/TONG, and ANGEL CHEN showcase their exceptional collections.

During Shanghai Fashion Week, the city was filled with a buzz as Chinese designers such as Xander Zhou, Office H, SHUSHU/TONG, and ANGEL CHEN showcased impressive collections. Additionally, global brands like Moncler, Vivienne Westwood, Anderson Bell, and LỰU ĐẠN were also present.

Alongside the Hyperoom SS25 showroom, TopMob ventured out onto the city streets to find and highlight the standout urban fashion trends. The crowd exuded self-assurance, a touch of nostalgic whimsy, and a hint of stylish rebellion in their attire.

The outfits showcased a maximalist approach, featuring extended lengths and loose fits that shaped the overall look. For coats, jackets, and blazers in patent leather, denim, and broad shoulders reminiscent of the 1990s were prominent. However, these strong styles were softened by intricate lace trims, ruffled edges, and a significant use of baby pink. The attendees exuded an edgy, punk-inspired vibe through their accessorized pieces adorned with chrome studs and contrasting patterns.

Playful surrealism appears to be a recurring theme, showcased through deceptive artistry on the tops, exaggerated buckles, ribbons, and ironic office attire styling. The bold subversion of dress forms reaches its peak with a daring heather gray two-piece set featuring boxing shorts adorned with rhinestones and a cropped hoodie boasting American Football shoulders, designed by Windowsen. In another outfit, oversized camouflage cargo pants are paired with raw denim over-shorts and a Supreme hockey jersey.
