As an ardent fan, I find myself utterly captivated by Sharvari Wagh’s journey in Bollywood. Her performances have not only left me spellbound but also filled me with a sense of anticipation for her future projects. In an era where comparisons are inevitable, it is refreshing to see Sharvari maintain her unique identity while acknowledging the inspiration she draws from Alia Bhatt.

After garnering success in several films, Sharvari Wagh has solidified her position as a significant player within the industry, demonstrating her acting prowess. Following notable roles in Munjay and Maharaj, she is now starring in the action movie Vedaa, helmed by Nikhil Advani and featuring John Abraham.

Lately, Sharvari Wagh sat down for a conversation with YouTuber Shubhankar Mishra on his podcast. They discussed various topics such as her film choices, childhood experiences, and more. At one point during the interview, the host suggested that she could be the next Alia Bhatt. In response, Sharvari stated that she aspires to serve as an inspiration for others, but Alia indeed inspires her as well. Here’s what Sharvari Wagh shares about it.

During the interview, Sharvari expressed that Alia Bhatt is undeniably a top-tier star. However, she also shared her desire to establish herself as ‘Sharvari’ and expressed hope that one day, people will look up to her in the same way they admire Alia today, using her name as an inspiration for others.

During the interview, it was noticed that Sharvari’s film choices resembled Alia’s, and the interviewer asked if she aspired for her career trajectory to mirror Alia’s. In response, Sharvari expressed admiration, saying, “I am indeed inspired by her because when I watch her movies in the theater, I can tell that the movie will be exceptional and her acting performance will be remarkable. We all know that what we see on screen is not just Alia, but a compelling character.”

Sharvari shared that ever since she dreamt of becoming an actress, her ambition has been to bring diverse characters to life on screen, aiming to astound viewers with her acting skills. She noted that it’s a compliment when people say they didn’t recognize her, but instead saw the character she brought to the screen.

Concerning the film Vedaa, it is helmed by Nikhil Advani as director, with Aseem Arrora penning the script. The narrative delves into the challenging topic of caste discrimination. The stellar cast includes Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Kshitij Chauhan in significant roles.

In the movie titled “Vedaa,” John portrays a former Gorkha Regiment soldier, who was court-martialed for disregarding orders. Concurrently, Sharvari takes on the lead role as Vedaa, a girl from a Dalit family, a community often subjected to oppression by the upper class.

In the upcoming spy film, titled “Alpha,” Sharvari Wagh and Alia Bhatt will join forces on screen. Both actresses are set to be part of the YRF Spy Universe, as announced by the filmmakers not long ago.

In simple terms, the initial 50-second clip showcases the YRF Spy Universe emblem and features Alia’s powerful voice announcing the movie title. Additionally, it offers a sneak peek into the film’s captivating soundtrack.
