This recently introduced mobile game was developed in partnership with actual chefs and is modeled after genuine recipes, so while it’s not realistic to expect a rotund polar bear constructing a cruise ship kitchen and serving sea creatures daily, the authenticity lies in the workings and procedures of an actual restaurant – specifically, the Singapore-based Omote restaurant.
On Shiro’s Kitchen Cruise, you’ll navigate through the culinary turmoil, taking on the role of the bear protagonist. Your mission isn’t just about whipping up delicious dishes in the kitchen, but also about enhancing the aesthetics of your restaurant to lure customers and ensure the success of your enterprise.
It’s essential to prioritize customer satisfaction, of course. However, occasionally, a disruptive individual may show up, and it falls upon you to manage them effectively to prevent any negative impact on your reputation. No one appreciates an unwelcome troublemaker causing a commotion!
To me, what truly stands out (beyond the delightful graphics and the intriguingly named character Lana Del Ray) is that the dishes being served are inspired by meals from the real-life Omote restaurant in Singapore. This unique, in-real-life connection to a cooking simulator isn’t something you often encounter.
