As an ardent fan of Bollywood and all things Diwali, I find myself utterly captivated by the life experiences of Shraddha Kapoor, especially her recent confession about postponing Diwali cleaning to next year. The fear of her mother’s flying chappal is something that resonates deeply with me, having grown up in a similar environment where the threat of aerial footwear was a constant reminder of our filial duties.
As Diwali approaches, one task that continues until the celebration day is the Diwali cleanup. Despite wanting our homes adorned and illuminated for the festival, few enjoy doing the dirty work. If this sentiment rings true to you, know that you’re not alone. Just like many others, actress Shraddha Kapoor has contemplated pushing her Diwali cleaning to next year. However, much like us, she too is afraid of her mother.
Recently, Shraddha Kapoor, the star of the Stree 2 movie, posted several pictures on Instagram where she appears to be deep in thought. In one of the photos, she looks beautiful with her eyeliner perfectly applied. Daughter of Shakti and Shivangi Kapoor captioned the post asking, “Should I postpone Diwali cleaning for next year?

But soon after, she took to her Instagram stories and posted a selfie flaunting her festive glow. She was quickly reminded that if she said no to Diwali cleaning, she might get a flying chappal from her mother. “Mummy ki chappal karegi fly because I said no to Diwali safai.”

Recently, Shraddha made an appearance in director Amar Kaushik’s film Stree 2, alongside notable stars such as Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The impressive box office figures suggest that this horror-comedy has managed to captivate a large number of viewers. The moviegoers have enjoyed the film immensely, while actress Madhuri Dixit expressed admiration for the entire cast as well.
As a devoted fan, I had the pleasure of speaking exclusively with the esteemed actress about her recent projects. She expressed to me that she adored the film “Stree” and hasn’t yet seen its sequel, but she’s heard wonderful things about it, which is why it has been so well-received by audiences. Excitingly, this senior actress will also be joining the cast of the upcoming movie, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” along with Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Triptii Dimri.
In our conversation, she shared her thoughts, saying, “It seems to me that horror films have existed since their inception. I recall participating in a film titled ‘100 days,’ which wasn’t a traditional horror but more of a mystery-thriller with a hint of horror. However, I believe the majority of actual horror films were produced by the Ramsay Brothers, as far as my memory serves me.” It is worth noting that BB3 will be competing against Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again on November 1, 2024.
