Shrinking Fans Are Buzzing About Liz’s Adorable Season 3 Baby Clue

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Season 3 of “Shrinking” is being developed, even though we might need to wait a bit longer for its arrival. However, the anticipation is building as we’re gradually receiving hints about the plot. A generous nod goes to Christa Miller, the charming actress who plays Liz, for providing us with a clearer picture of her character’s journey this season. Fans are already buzzing with excitement about what’s in store!

Ever since Shrinking’s second season ended early on the 2025 TV schedule, I’ve been chomping at the bit for more information about the next set of episodes. Thankfully, Christa Miller is giving us exactly that, as she posted the following on her Instagram alongside a BTS photo of her holding up a baby and smiling:

Could there be, perhaps, a baby coming into Liz’s life?! 🍼🍼🍼🍼 A little #bts from last season 😉

In Season 2, my favorite characters, Brian and Charlie, were in the midst of adopting a baby. When parenthood became a tangible reality, they swiftly acknowledged they required aid. Eventually, they approached Liz, who was thrilled to lend a hand and later care for their child. Interestingly enough, it was hinted within the series that Liz would exert her authority over the other nanny employed by Brian and Charlie, and I’m eager to witness this dynamic unfold.

Miller’s most recent post appears to suggest that such an occurrence might be possible, with its playful caption and strategically used wink emoticon.

To me, it was heartwarming to witness Liz discovering her life’s calling as a mother during her journey last season. She has a knack with children, and watching her navigate among their parents is truly inspiring. Consequently, I am eagerly anticipating her interplay with Brian and his newborn next season. It seems that the audience shares my enthusiasm, evidenced by numerous comments on the actress’s post expressing excitement for this narrative development. Here are some of the most enthusiastic reactions:

  • You’re really gonna be taking Brian’s baby all of next season 🤣 -tatidel316
  • I give the other Nanny less than 24 hours on the job before Liz fires her 😂 -level_up_stef
  • Yay Liz! I can’t wait to see you boss everybody around again Lol! (In a very charming funny way of course) 👏❤️-doobiekearns
  • Why yes! Me thinks there is a baby coming into Liz’s life. SO exciting! -hollybelle505
  • Look at your face in this pic, pure joy 🤩 That’s a mom’s love… can’t wait to see Liz (drawing from Christa’s personal experience) with a little one ! How many Nannies will Liz go thru… Bring on season 3 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 -krisdavis9

Undeniably, we’re all on pins and needles, eagerly anticipating the arrival of Liz, or should I say Brian’s, baby. Christa Miller’s character is richly complex, consistently funny, and endearing, and I believe a narrative like this will brilliantly showcase these attributes.

Observing Liz interact with Brian and Charlie, her colleagues, promises an amusing spectacle, given the comedic moments we’ve already witnessed as they prepared for the baby. Moreover, this scenario offers a glimpse into Liz’s more tender side. Last season, we watched as she grappled with finding her purpose, ultimately discovering it in motherhood. In Season 3, I eagerly anticipate witnessing her fully embrace that role and attain a deeper level of self-acceptance, a journey she has been on.

Shrinking is at its best when it mixes comedy with drama, and this storyline could easily do that.

In essence, we’re merely left to anticipate as the exciting tale unfolds in Season 3 of “Shrinking”. Given that production is underway, it won’t be long before Christa Miller and her team grace our screens again. Until then, I’ll be checking out her Instagram for news and revisiting Seasons 1 and 2 with my Apple TV+ subscription, all the while pondering about the various ways Liz could aid Brian in his journey of raising his baby.
