As a seasoned gamer and volunteer, I can wholeheartedly appreciate the efforts of Siegelman Stable and the American Red Cross. The “Drop for Drop” program is not just about a stylish cap, but a call to action that resonates deeply with me.
Siegelman Stable has created an exceptional red and black cap as part of the American Red Cross’ “Drop for Drop” campaign. The company, founded on charitable principles, donates a portion of its earnings from every sale towards equine therapy programs. With this new venture, Siegelman Stable hopes to encourage more people to participate in blood drives.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, regular blood drives scheduled at schools and universities had to be suspended, leading to a significant decrease in blood donations.
On September 4th, the Siegelman Stable and the Red Cross are organizing a blood drive, conveniently situated opposite Vanderbilt University in Nashville, at The Ruby location. Those who donate blood will receive as a thank you gift, an exclusive, limited-edition Red Cross x Siegelman Stable cap that won’t be sold anywhere else.
At heart, Siegelman Stable focuses on providing equine therapy experiences. This is particularly beneficial for individuals grappling with physical, psychological, and emotional trauma. Notably, many of these programs are managed by selfless volunteers who dedicate their time to aiding others, as stated by founder Max Siegelman and Creative Director Karoline Spenning.
As a passionate gamer, I’m always on the lookout for teams that align with my values. Just like I team up with others in games to conquer challenges, I join forces with the Red Cross volunteers and staff. They’re the game-changers, delivering essential services – from aiding those in crisis, to helping us prepare for emergencies. It’s not just about winning; it’s about giving back. And when it comes to organizations that share this mission, they’re the ones I want to stand beside and support.
Individuals who wish to contribute can register for a chance to donate blood during the upcoming event on September 14th. A small number of openings for walk-ins will also be provided.
