As a die-hard Salman Khan fan who has been following his illustrious career since the days of “Maine Pyar Kiya,” I can’t help but get goosebumps when I hear about the latest developments in his upcoming film, “Sikandar.” The news about the Rolls Royce Phantom with a Gujarat-linked number plate and police cars has certainly added fuel to the fire of anticipation.

There’s a lot of excitement surrounding Salman Khan’s upcoming movie, Sikandar, within Bollywood circles, as fans can hardly wait for more information about it. Recent news from the set has given us some intriguing insights: they’ve brought in a Rolls Royce Phantom with a custom license plate, and it appears that specialized police vehicles are being employed. Additionally, there are hints subtly connecting the film to Gujarat, which has only served to heighten our curiosity!

According to a recent article in Bollywood Hungama, filming for Salman Khan’s latest project is currently underway at the Falaknuma Palace in Hyderabad. While on set, a Rolls Royce Phantom made an appearance, but it was the unique number plate that attracted attention. The royal logo and numbers ‘GJ-03’ suggest ties to the city of Rajkot in Gujarat.

Additionally fueling fan speculation, the police vehicles used during filming displayed the same number ‘GJ-03’ on their license plates. Moreover, these cars had ‘Rajkot Police’ written in Gujarati script and the police emblem on their hoods, suggesting a link between the movie and this particular location.

Additional reports suggest that specific train and action sequences have been filmed for the movie, along with constructing a unique set at a studio in Borivali, a suburban area of Mumbai. According to Mid-Day, Khan is expected to portray intense action scenes where his character confronts a group of criminals.

The report revealed that the director, AR Murugadoss, who is famous for his intense action sequences, such as those seen in the films Ghajini (2008) and Holiday (2014), imagined this project to be a significant part of the film. These subtle hints have sparked anticipation among fans looking forward to seeing the popular Bollywood star on the big screen very soon.

Under the guidance of director AR Murugadoss and production by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sikandar is being made. Alongside Khan, this movie features Rashmika Mandanna, Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, and others. You can expect to see it in theaters on Eid in 2025.
