They’ve revealed the official trailer for the eagerly awaited second season of the captivating apocalyptic sci-fi series “Silo,” featuring Rebecca Ferguson. This gripping drama is adapted from Hugh Howey’s critically acclaimed trilogy of dystopian novels, which centers around the last 10,000 people living in a massive underground structure known as the silo, shielding them from the poisonous and lethal world above. However, the origins of the silo remain a mystery, and those who dare to investigate meet with fatal consequences. Ferguson portrays Juliette, an engineer searching for answers regarding a loved one’s murder, only to stumble upon a secret far greater than she could have imagined, ultimately leading her to discover that while lies might not kill you, the truth certainly will. You can watch the new trailer for “Silo” Season 2 below.
SPOILER ALERT: In Season 1, every character who leaves the silo and goes outside meets a tragic end – except for Juliette. Driven by her quest for knowledge and the shocking truths she’s uncovered, she stumbles upon multiple other silos amidst the bleak landscape. A sneak peek shows her meeting a new character played by Steve Zahn, but it’s unclear if he can be trusted. In the clip, Juliette voices her determination to learn what transpired inside these silos, for the sake of her friends and family. “We just want to survive,” she says, “and I need to know what happened here.
Juliette’s mission to uncover the truth and share it with her people threatens the silo’s head of IT, Bernard Holland (Tim Robbins). The trailer finds the shady leader facing a rebellion sparked when the silo’s residents were left stunned in season one after witnessing Juliette survive her self-imposed exile. “I’m not afraid of the rebellion. I’m more afraid of what she saw,” Bernard says.
