Prepared to delve into a handbook titled “Silver and Blood,” featuring a subtly moodier design and captivating personalities. This comprehensive guide promises to share essential strategies and techniques that will significantly enhance your gameplay experience.
Since I started playing SAB upon its launch, I haven’t had much luck with the gacha system. However, I’ve managed to clear many stages efficiently without spending any money, and I’d like to share some tips that might be useful for you. If this approach appeals to you, then I believe you’ll find my insights on the following pages intriguing.
F2P-friendly and insane gacha rates!
Before we actually dive into the guide, I have to touch on a couple of features that make Silver and Blood stand out among its peers. One of which is the incredibly high gacha rates.
Because you have a reliable system that provides a handful of Summonable Special Roles (SSRs) through either chance or Perfect Shards, you’ll consistently have opportunities to acquire new characters, irrespective of your luck during summoning.
Furthermore, as a Free-to-Play (F2P) user, you’ll find yourself with plenty of complimentary summons right from the start of the game. On top of this, the abundance of Moon Tears you accumulate just by playing means you can comfortably enjoy the game without needing to spend your own money, if that’s your preference.
Here’s my take: Hey there fellow gamer! Ever felt overwhelmed with all the in-game resources and time management? This guide is for you! It’s designed to help you maximize your gaming experience, aiming to make you a top player without breaking the bank. Instead of splurging on packs and perks, you’ll learn how to strategically manage your resources and time, ensuring an enjoyable and cost-effective gameplay journey!
As we delve into this exciting guide, let’s ensure that you’re well-versed with the most recent SAB codes. And before we proceed, feel free to glance over our Silver and Blood tier list, which offers a comprehensive ranking of all the currently active characters for your perusal!
1 Tip #1 – Challenge Story Mode as often as you can
One crucial tip to remember is that focusing on Story Mode is highly advantageous for several reasons, particularly due to some key features that will prove beneficial over time.
- Leveling up Moonlight Faith (passive rewards)
- Claiming the chapter’s clear rewards, consisting of summoning tickets
In the Story Mode on Normal setting, you’ll encounter stages that progressively become tougher. Some stages demand you to eliminate enemies, while others challenge you to endure for a specific duration. It would be beneficial to tackle as many of these stages as you can, ensuring regular upgrades for your Vassals throughout the process.
Clearing Story Mode levels will help boost your Moonlight Faith, with every set of five completed stages increasing its level by one. Initially, you can focus on normal stages as they’re easier to conquer, and harder versions will become available later on.
About Moonlight Faith rewards
Moonlight Faith will give you all the resources necessary to upgrade your characters, but also EXP to level up your account. You want this to be upgraded as much as possible every day so that when you go offline, you’ll gather more resources.
2 Tip #2 – Don’t sleep on the Transfusion feature
After completing stages 4 and 5, Transfusion becomes available – this is a useful tool that lets you populate vacant spots with different characters at level one. Characters in these empty spaces will automatically rise to a level equivalent to your lowest-level vassal stationed at the top.
As a gamer, I’d definitely advise you to slot in all your SSRs and some potent SRs within the Transfusion slots. This way, they can be leveled up, which comes in handy when you need to switch characters during the game storyline. Although certain events might boost all characters to a specific or max level, it’s still crucial to have them upgraded for optimal performance.
How to unlock more Transfusion slots?
New Transfusion slots will unlock the more new characters you acquire. You can also unlock more by spending Moon Tears, but at the beginning, I recommend you just wait until you unlock all the characters, then start spending Moon Tears on unlocking additional slots.
3 Tip #3 – Keep your Moon Tears for exclusive/rate-up summons
In simpler terms, Moon Tears function as a rare type of currency in the game, and they become scarce as you progress. Initially, you’ll receive a good amount, but it’s advised not to spend them on standard draws. Instead, save them exclusively for special or limited-time events.
For a character that’s not easily obtained, spending 3000 Moon Tears on 10 pulls in the premium gacha offers the most effective approach.
What else should you spend your Moon Tears on?
You might want to think about investing in other items using your Moon Tears. However, it’s essential not to go overboard with your spending.
3. If you have spare Moon Tears, you might find it worthwhile to explore other options in the game. Just remember not to overspend!
5. Instead of focusing solely on the rate-up gacha, consider other ways to use your Moon Tears in the game. Just be careful not to spend too much!
- Resetting a character’s level (10 Moon Tears)
- 1 Extra Sermon (first Extra Sermon per day costs 50 Moon Tears, then 70, and so on)
- Buying event-related currency
Beyond these, it would be wise to hold onto all your Moon Tears, as at some stage, there may be a character you’ll find yourself desiring – regardless of who might currently be available in the gacha.
4 Tip #4 – Participate in exclusive events
In contrast to numerous other RPGs, the time-restricted activities in Silver and Blood are generally achievable without much difficulty. These events pop up approximately 2-3 times monthly, occasionally more frequently (based on event complexity). To acquire rare summoning items such as Vestige of Love or Soothing Embrace, it’s advisable to participate in these events as frequently as you can.
You’ll find numerous benefits waiting for you alongside your summoning tickets, such as Pure Blood Essence and assorted Fragments that can be used to boost your equipment levels or character types. I highly advise you not to miss out on these bonuses once you have collected all the summoning tickets.
In summary, each day offers you complimentary chances to join events, allowing you to conquer several stages or accumulate them daily, even if you don’t manage to complete everything right away. Remember to take advantage of this opportunity every day.
5 Tip #5 – Focus on upgrading 5 SSR characters
Instead of spreading your resources thinly by leveling up many SSR characters, it might be more beneficial to focus on enhancing the five you have the most copies of. By utilizing the Transfusion feature, any character can be boosted to the level of your weakest Vassal within this top five group, with their growth being directly influenced by these key characters.
As a passionate player, here’s what I suggest you focus on: Enhance five characters that you have the most duplicates of. The development stage of each character is determined by its Spirit Siphon level (0 stars take them to level 80, 1 star brings them to level 120, 2 stars up to level 160, and 3 stars and above can reach level 200). However, you can skip this limit with the help of Transfusion.
Gear up more than just the characters on your main team
Since you can level up a lot of the characters, my suggestion would be to gear up all the SSRs. Since you can swap them out to pass a specific stage, if they also have gear, they will be a lot stronger.
You don’t strictly need to enhance your equipment, but it’s important that you put it on. Once you’ve performed the Awakening Ritual and upgraded your Light/Medium/Heavy gear, the upgrade bonus will significantly improve all your gear’s stats.
6 Tip #6 – Don’t rely on auto-play for everything
In a game like Silver and Blood, which is a strategy RPG, it’s not effective to simply hit play and move on to the next level repeatedly. Instead, for certain levels, particularly EX and boss stages, you’ll find that manual play can make the challenges much easier.
Using the automatic battle feature can be helpful, but it may not always choose the optimal moves. I highly suggest familiarizing yourself with your team’s abilities and knowing when to utilize them best. This will not only save you considerable time (as the auto mode might not always prioritize who should use their skill first, then second, etc.), but also enable scenarios where using a buff before your main attack could potentially defeat enemies in a single stage.
When tackling boss battles, I find it advantageous to opt for manual combat mode. This way, I have full control over whom my team engages, a crucial aspect since sometimes the automatic setting might miss marking enemies effectively, like the elusive arms of the Rat King, which could potentially be lethal at the beginning of a fight.
7 Tip #7 – Make your own dream team!
One appealing aspect of Silver and Blood is its flexibility: there’s no strict formula for content creation. Users are free to customize their teams as they please, and these diverse setups can still be effective. Whether you’re inclined towards a summoner team or wish to experiment with assassins and mages, feel free to do so!
There are numerous ways to savor the gameplay experience, without being tethered to a particular character. Feel free to utilize any character at your disposal, or swap it with an SR temporarily. With appropriate gear upgrades, you can potentially progress through some of the mid-to-late stages of the game.
