Over the years, this Anees Bazmee masterpiece has earned a cult-like following, thanks to its engaging storyline and hard-hitting, hysterical punches. As we celebrate 16 years since its release, I’d like to share an intriguing piece of trivia: the iconic song “Teri Ore” from the movie shares a special connection with Abhishek Bachchan’s “Dus Bahane.”
In a casual, engaging style: The captivating and unforgettable love ballad from Singh Is Kinng, Teri Ore starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is pure joy to behold. This song was filmed near the breathtaking Egyptian pyramids, making it a sight to remember. In an interview with Mid-day in 2022, the choreographer Bosco Martis shared some fascinating insights about the production process, revealing that the entire song was shot in just six hours!
Speaking about the well-known dance number “Dus Bahane,” the award-winning choreographer shared an interesting tale: “Abishek Bachchan requested us to create Dus Bahane, and it’s amusing how some songs we produce in just six hours can gain popularity. ‘Teri Ore,’ which features Katrina Kaif changing costumes, was one such song. We were shooting in Egypt, had to capture the pyramids, and there was a lot to film. Fortunately, we managed to pull it off.”
Beyond this topic, he additionally discussed his close friendship with Katrina Kaif, referring to her as a “pleasure.” In his words, she is an incredibly “dedicated individual, meticulous, and wonderful to know.” He expressed that even after a decade, it feels like they just met each other for the first time when they reconnect.

After gaining much success, a follow-up movie named “Singh Is Bliing” with Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson was unveiled in the year 2015.
