In celebration of its 10-year milestone, the multi-brand store SIWILAI located in Bangkok has unveiled a new addition to their ongoing series “Permanent Vacation: Friends of Siwilai”. For this edition, they’re teaming up with renowned artist VERDY. Previous collaborations in this series have included DR. WOO, Jun Takahashi from UNDERCOVER, and Haroshi.
Globally recognized designer VERDY, famous for his striking designs and characters such as Vick and Visty, has teamed up with prominent brands like Nike, HUMAN MADE, and Levi’s. His creative role in Blackpink’s Born Pink tour has served to showcase his talent even more. Now, the artist from Osaka who resides in Tokyo shares his unique perspective in Thailand through a design inspired by the Golden Shower Tree, the nation’s iconic tree.
The exclusive collaboration features the tree’s vibrant yellow blossoms reimagined blooming from VERDY’s signature Wasted Youth can, symbolizing growth and resilience. This creative twist celebrates Thailand’s rich cultural significance while emphasizing the universal power of artistic expression. The collection, limited to a white tee is available for purchase now, exclusively at the SIWILAI Store inside of the Central Embassy shopping mall in Bangkok and is priced at approximately $100 USD.
