- Solo Leveling: Arise’s 2025 Championship prelims kick off February 21st
- It’ll see competitors race against the clock for the fastest clear times
- On the line is the lion’s share of a hefty prize pool at the finals this April
It appears that nowadays, nearly every aspect of gaming incorporates some form of competitive element. After all, the esports industry is a significant factor contributing to many games’ longevity, and it seems that the forthcoming Netmarble’s Solo Leveling: Arise Championship 2025 (announced earlier this year) aims to emulate such success for their manhwa-inspired release.
It’s intriguing that Solo Leveling: Arise is participating in a fierce competition starting from February 21st. However, applications for this tournament are opening up to all players who have earned at least 1000 points during season 7 of the Battlefield of Time. The contest will run from the 21st until March 9th and will be divided into Asian and International leagues, offering four different maps from the Battlefield of Time for play.
As an enthusiast, I’m excited to share that we’ll be battling it out across four maps. Our fastest times from each map will decide our positions. The top eight performers from every league will then get a shot at advancing to the SLC grand finals in Korea on April 12th, where a substantial 20 million KRW prize pool awaits the victors!
Going solo
If you’ve noticed a touch of skepticism in my text, well done for spotting it. However, I believe it’s understandable to find it unusual that a primarily solo game release would have a competitive championship. Yet, considering the widespread popularity of Solo Leveling’s original series and the thriving esports culture in South Korea, I’m convinced that this tournament will attract many spectators.
