Who proposed first between Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal?
The bold-faced actress shared, “When we began dating, I was the one who expressed my love first. I made it clear that I would marry no other than him, with or without his consent.” As per Sinha’s account, Zaheer joined their journey a short while later. Their bond deepened as they spent more time together, eventually leading to Iqbal agreeing to the marriage.
Iqbal, sitting next to Sonakshi Sinha during the interview, explained his late response to marriage by saying, “I have been savoring this relationship immensely. People often tell you that life changes significantly after marriage, so I thought I’d enjoy it a bit more before making any decisions.”
Why did Zaheer Iqbal didn’t cry when Sonakshi Sinha walked down the aisle?
At the wedding, The Notebook actor shared an amusing story. Zaheer explained that although he expected to be overcome with emotion when Sonakshi approached him, this sensation lasted just a brief moment – around three seconds. “As I prepared to shed tears, I suddenly thought, ‘I’m so happy now!’ and exclaimed, ‘Hurry up, let’s get married quickly!'”
Sonakshi continued, “The fact is, our courtship, friendship, and connection have been so wonderful that the timing of our wedding almost doesn’t matter to me – ‘Because you are the one intended to be.'”
