Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are well-known duos in the Bollywood scene. After being together for approximately seven years, they exchanged wedding vows earlier this June. In a recent chat, Zaheer admitted that he hasn’t yet gotten used to the fact that they’re married now, as he often forgets to hold his wife Sonakshi’s hand.
In a recent chat with ETimes, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal had an open discussion about their lives following marriage. During this talk, Iqbal admitted that he sometimes forgets they are now a wedded pair.
Even in public, I sometimes forget that I’m married to Sonakshi, and I find myself hesitating to hold her hand,” he admitted with a chuckle. “Then, I suddenly remember ‘we’re actually married now.'” The actress from Heeramandi echoed his thoughts, stating it still feels as if they’ve been dating for the past seven years, nothing has significantly changed between them.
The pair shared that they continually strive to outdo one another in expressing their affection for each other. According to Zaheer, this involves a perpetual contest where both are vying to show greater love.
He remarked, “In my opinion, that outcome would be ideal for the couple, especially when one person is tirelessly working from dawn till dusk to express their affection more profoundly, only to have them respond, ‘We actually feel even stronger about you.’
Sonakshi revealed that her husband often catches her off guard with surprises, and Zaheer added humorously that the actress sometimes gives the impression of knowing what’s coming when, in truth, she is genuinely surprised.
On June 23, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal exchanged vows in a private registered ceremony. This was followed by an extravagant reception event where numerous Bollywood personalities such as Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Kajol, Tabu, Yo Yo Honey Singh, and others graced the occasion.
In terms of work, Sonakshi was most recently featured in SLB’s grand period-drama web series, Heeramandi. Subsequently, it is rumored that she will collaborate with her spouse again for Tu Hai Meri Kiran. They have previously teamed up on the 2022 film release, Double XL and a music video titled Blockbuster.
