As per Bloomberg’s report, her father-in-law Harish Ahuja purchased a house in Notting Hill, London for an impressive £21 million (approximately Rs 231.47 crore in Indian currency), making it one of the largest residential deals in the UK this year. The Ahuja family finalized this deal in July 2024, and it is rumored that Sonam Kapoor and her husband are planning to move into this new residence soon.

In a delightful turn of events, I’m excited to share that after the grand renovation of an eight-story building, I, along with my husband, Anand Ahuja, will call a part of it our new home. As per Bloomberg reports, this newly acquired residential convent is nestled just steps away from Kensington Gardens and boasts a spacious 20,000 square feet. Interestingly, before us, the property was in the hands of a UK-registered charity and religious order. While we’ll be settling into our new address, the remaining portion is anticipated to be transformed into apartments for others.

For those not familiar, actress Sonam Kapoor and her businessman husband Anand Ahuja live in a stylish apartment within London’s Notting Hill neighborhood at present. They plan to move to a new location soon. After years of dating, they got married in 2018 with a lavish wedding ceremony. The pair have a strong relationship and share a son named Vayu together.

Sonam and Anand split their time between the UK (since their marriage) and primarily reside in a lavish home in Mumbai, which is her preferred location for much of the year.

Currently, Sonam Kapoor isn’t frequently appearing in Bollywood productions. Her most recent role was in the movie “Blind,” directed by Shome Makhija, which was exclusively released on Jio Cinema and was filmed before her pregnancy. At present, Kapoor is preparing for a new high-profile project, but specifics about her upcoming film have not been disclosed yet.
