In a heartfelt Instagram video, Sonu Nigam reminisced about his past challenges, focusing on the difficult periods post his mother’s demise in 2013. He confessed that he frequently shed tears during his performances following her loss. “After my mother passed away, those years were particularly tough for me. I cried quite a bit during my performances,” he disclosed.
At the close of the video, Sonu thanked his fans for their affection and understanding, acknowledging that he may have shown too much emotion at times. He added humorously, “I’m only human, and I can get overly emotional occasionally.
In a playful post, the singer labeled the clip as a “joyful swim,” accompanied by the caption, “Once again, it’s time to lose control over my drumbeats,” hinting at his emotional disposition.
