A new teaser for Sony Pictures’ upcoming film “Karate Kid: Legends” has emerged, featuring familiar faces from the past like Ralph Macchio as Danny LaRusso and Jackie Chan as Mr. Han. The franchise is getting a fresh start, connecting with the original 1984 movie, the “Cobra Kai” series, and the 2010 reboot starring Jaden Smith.
In the forthcoming movie, Ben Wang steps into the role of a fresh Karate Kid, as the story unfolds three years after the events depicted in the final season of Cobra Kai. Wang’s character, Li Fong, is a gifted kung fu practitioner who experiences a family misfortune and is compelled to relocate with his mother from Beijing to New York City. Adjusting to his new school life proves challenging as he encounters daily hardships. Aided by a new companion, Li participates in a karate tournament and catches the attention of Mr. Han, who also recruits Daniel LaRusso for assistance.
