On Thursday, Left Bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television (SPT) surprised the British TV industry with the announcement that Charlotte Moore, presently serving as the Chief Content Officer for the BBC, will take over as CEO of Left Bank. This comes after Andy Harries, the current CEO, revealed his intention to focus on the chairman role within the Sony-owned producer, where he will continue to serve.
In the next phase of her dual position, she will additionally take on the roles of Executive Vice President and Creative Director for the International Production Group within Sony Pictures Television.

In her new position as Executive Vice President, she will spearhead the team’s creative planning. She will collaborate closely with President Wayne Garvie, Matthew Justice, Executive Vice President and Head of U.K. & Europe, along with heads of production companies and labels within Sony Pictures and Sony Corp, as well as other relevant groups. The company announced this.
Since 2020, Moore has been responsible for defining the creative direction and editorial plans for all types of BBC content (both scripted and unscripted) that are distributed across various platforms.
Moore expressed great enthusiasm about coming back to program production. He has felt honored to guide the BBC creatively through a period of unparalleled transformation, showcasing exceptional British narratives across radio and television. However, he is eager to tackle a fresh opportunity and is thrilled to start a brand-new journey with Left Bank Pictures and Sony.
