This summer, SpongeBob SquarePants won’t be residing in his pineapple underwater home anymore, but instead will be starring in a lineup of games on Apple Arcade. Notably, the Apple Arcade exclusives Snake.io+ and Crossy Road Castle are set to introduce SpongeBob to the action with some unique collaborative events. This means that for a limited period, you might encounter characters from Bikini Bottom in these games.
Instead, complete unique tasks to earn themed costumes featuring characters like Patrick, Squidward, and yes, even Plankton (but don’t worry, he’s not as villainous here). This event continues until August 25th.
In a different way of saying it, Crossy Road Castle’s cooperative platformer allows you to race through 40 levels modeled after Bikini Bottom, all while dodging jellyfish and gathering Krabby Patties simultaneously. Two important events are happening now: the Krabby Patty Kollectathon event that started today, and the Jellyfish Jam starting on August 4th, which will continue until August 17th.
