Stacy London, Clinton Kelly Reunite for Amazon Fashion Makeover Series

As a gamer with a keen eye for fashion trends and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of style, I am absolutely thrilled about the return of Stacy London and Clinton Kelly to our screens! Their long-running show “What Not to Wear” was a staple in my TV routine back in the day, providing me with valuable insights on how to express myself through clothing.

Stacy London and Clinton Kelly are coming back to television screens, but this time they won’t be providing advice on fashion do’s and don’ts for their audience.

Two familiar hosts are teaming up for a Prime Video series named “Wear Whatever Makes You Happy“, which is essentially the opposite of their long-standing show “What Not to Wear“. This new production, a collaboration between All3Media’s Bright Spot Content and Amazon MGM Studios, has London and Kelly listed among its executive producers.

“Since the end of ‘What Not to Wear’, the world has undergone significant changes, and fortunately, we have as well. Nowadays, we no longer aim to dictate fashion based on societal norms because they no longer exist. Instead, we are passionate about guiding individuals on how they can express their unique personalities through their style, in line with their aspirations. It’s high time we celebrate individuality in fashion, rather than dictating it.”

For over ten years, starting from 2003, the pair, London and Kelly, presented more than 200 episodes of the show What Not to Wear on TLC. They offered fashion advice and transformed numerous participants. However, after the show ended, they had a disagreement but managed to patch things up for a live tour in 2023. Now, they are back with a new series. In an interview last year on Today, Kelly expressed her frustration about constant Instagram posts suggesting their intense dislike for each other, stating, “I was fed up of it. Because the truth is, we don’t actually hate each other. In fact, we genuinely care for one another.”

As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: “Amazon Prime Video presents ‘Wear Whatever the F You Want’ as a transformative style show that equips participants with the self-assurance and fashion know-how to rock any outfit. Over a few action-packed days, they help each client bring their wildest fashion dreams to life and discover their unique style identity on this unforgettable journey.”

“Ever since Clinton and Stacy debuted on TV, they’ve been leaders in demonstrating how fashion can boost self-confidence. Their lively conversations and unique perspectives have influenced viewers positively for nearly two decades, according to Lauren Anderson, head of brand and content innovation at Amazon MGM Studios. Now, under the guidance of Jenny Falkoff, head of reality series for Amazon MGM Studios, and with the help of Bright Spot Content, this long-anticipated reunion is finally happening. The duo returns with a vibrant, entertaining, and insightful new series on Prime Video, offering advice, inspiration, camaraderie, and their iconic sense of style.”

Kelly, along with London, is set to serve as executive producers for the series alongside Sandy Varo Jarrell, Suzanne Rauscher, and showrunner Justin Rae Barnes, as well as Janelle Couture.
