As someone who’s spent countless hours navigating the galaxy far, far away in various Star Wars games, I must admit, I’m finding myself torn about the prevalence of cheats in Star Wars Outlaws. On one hand, I’ve always been a fan of bending the rules a bit (just like Lando Calrissian), but on the other, there’s something inherently satisfying about overcoming challenges through skill rather than shortcuts.
In Star Wars Outlaws, you’ll have the chance to dive deep into the shady dealings of the Outer Rim’s criminal network – a dream come true for those who wished they could play as Boba Fett in the abandoned Star Wars 1313 game, as now you can let your inner thief run wild.
As Kay Vess, the Outlaw embarks on a journey to demonstrate that she’s more than just a female equivalent of Han Solo, introducing unique aspects such as a reputation system within the turbulent galaxies. While Kay might not embody the same moral virtues as Luke Skywalker, some believe it’s acceptable for her to bend the rules now and then.
Star Wars Outlaws cheats are already here
If you’ve been playing Outlaws as part of the more expensive Gold Edition and haven’t encountered any save file deletions, it’s likely that you’re deeply involved in Kay’s storyline. Managing crime organizations such as the Hutt Clan and Crimson Dawn presents numerous ethical quandaries, while the planet Canto Bight serves as a significant setting throughout your journey.
Before its official release on August 30th, the open-world Star Wars adventure, Outlaws, is already at risk of being overwhelmed by cheats. Despite the lack of multiplayer in the game, it’s unlikely that Massive Entertainment planned for players to exploit shortcuts while experiencing the engaging storyline.
It’s ironic that cheats are frowned upon in a game that literally teaches you to go full Lando Calrissian and cheat. Still, VideoGamer reports that Star Wars Outlaws cheats are currently everywhere, with WeMod holding host to a series of cheats from a modder called GreenHouse.
Ranging from Unlimited Adrenaline that turns Kay into a heavy-hitter akin to a Rancor to Unlimited Credits that make you richer than Alderaan’s Organa family, Outlaws would be a walk in the park if you have any of the above installed.
As an enthusiast, I’d advise against relying on unconfirmed resources for cheats in Outlaws when it comes to Cheat Engine compatibility. Remember, these tricks are only applicable to the PC version of the game, leaving console players with a classic challenge: beat the game honestly, but don’t forget a bit of strategic advantage at Sabacc here and there.
Since Ubisoft typically doesn’t endorse cheats in their other popular series such as Assassin’s Creed, it’s unlikely they will welcome this behavior in Outlaws either. We can also phrase it as: Given that Ubisoft generally frowns upon cheating in its major titles like Assassin’s Creed, it’s best to play Outlaws honestly.
