Stardew Valley: SquidFest Festival Guide

As a seasoned player of Stardew Valley, I must say that these Squid Farming Events truly bring a unique charm to the game. It’s not every day you get to farm squids! The rewards, from Trap Bobbers to Treasure Chests, add a delightful twist to the usual farming routine.

Stardew Valley’s SquidFest is a charming event added to winter activities. This mini-festival happens annually on the 12th and 13th of Winter. It presents exciting chances for players to participate in friendly fishing tournaments, win unique rewards, and immerse themselves in the festive winter vibe.

At SquidFest, spanning over two fun-filled days, you have ample opportunity to go squid hunting and earn attractive rewards. The more squid you successfully catch, the more impressive your prizes become! Ranging from practical items like bait and coffee, all the way up to unique items such as a Squid Hat and an exclusive painting, these prizes are well worth your effort. This guide aims to provide you with all the essential information about Stardew Valley’s SquidFest celebration.

SquidFest Festival Guide

Stardew Valley: SquidFest Festival Guide

Every year on the 12th and 13th of Winter, I head over to the beach in Stardew Valley for the annual SquidFest. This gaming extravaganza kicks off at 6:10 a.m. and runs all night until 2:00 a.m. The event is easy to spot as it’s set up right next to a fisherman’s tent located in the northwest corner of the beach. A towering SquidFest sign by the tent serves as the perfect landmark, ensuring I don’t miss it!

Unlike many other festivals, SquidFest is unique in that it doesn’t require a disruption of your daily routine. Businesses and residences throughout the valley remain open during the festival, providing an opportunity for attendees to participate in the event while still managing their regular activities within the village.

How to Participate in SquidFest

Come bring along your fishing pole and make your way to the beach for the upcoming festival. The goal is to reel in as many squids as you can to enhance your earnings. Every squid you catch will earn you points, with a higher number of catches leading to a greater reward level.

While attendance at the festival isn’t mandatory, for an optimal experience, it’s advisable to be well-prepared. Carrying Squid Baits and a durable fishing rod, such as Fiberglass, Iridium, or Advanced Iridium Rod, could increase your likelihood of catching more squid.

SquidFest Rewards

During SquidFest, you earn a point each time you manage to capture a single squid. When you accumulate enough points (the minimum varies daily), you’ll be eligible to collect your reward from the fisherman. To monitor your progress, check the counter located at the top-left corner of your screen. SquidFest features different levels of prizes each day based on the number of squids caught.
