- SRT to oversee high-performance vehicles, Direct Connection and motorsports
- Focus on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram; Ram returns to NASCAR Trucks in 2026
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the legendary Street and Racing Technology (SRT) division from Stellantis has been brought back to life! I, Tim Kuniskis, have been chosen to guide this revitalized performance powerhouse. Alongside this role, I’ve also been entrusted with a new responsibility – overseeing the strategies for marketing and retail across our American brands and North America region.
Excitingly, I still hold my position as CEO of Ram, and I can’t wait to continue sculpting the performance legacies of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram. This is going to be one heck of a ride!
As a devoted enthusiast, I can’t help but feel thrilled about the reemergence of SRT, which marks a fresh wave of dedication towards cutting-edge engineering within Stellantis’ U.S. brands. In the spirit of camaraderie and shared passion, Kuniskis aptly stated, “We’re reuniting our musical troupe.” He underscored the importance of gathering the crème de la crème of powertrain and vehicle dynamics experts to ensure that the raw power, exceptional handling, and groundbreaking innovation synonymous with SRT will continue to shine.
The division will additionally manage Direct Connection, North American motorsports endeavors, and initiatives such as Ram’s comeback in the NASCAR Truck Series by 2026. This strategic shift is designed by Stellantis to consolidate its performance approach and rekindle excitement among dedicated followers. As stated by Stellantis COO Antonio Filosa, the company trusts Kuniskis’ “tactical perspective and competitive drive” to forge stronger ties with customers through innovative performance offerings and events.
