Previously, the filming duration typically stretched from six to eight months. However, when this current project began, they warned us to prepare for a minimum of twelve months, indicating that the production would undeniably be an extended one.

We’re eight months into our project now, which is typically when we wind things up, but there’s still so much left on our plate. Time seems to be moving at breakneck speed. The biggest struggle has been enjoying each moment, especially as we near the end of filming. It’s become quite challenging not to tear up constantly due to our immense affection for the show and our team.

According to Matarazzo, here’s what fans can anticipate from Stranger Things Season 5: “It’s massive! We ended Season 4 with a mind-blowing finale, quite unlike anything we saw in the first three seasons.” He continues, “[Season 5] doesn’t require a slow buildup; it jumps right into the action… The characters are grappling with the fact that although they had some minor victories in the last season, overall they seem to have lost the battle. It’s about them trying to pick up the pieces and starting over.” Unfortunately, there’s no confirmed release date as of now, so fans will have to wait until sometime in 2025 to catch Stranger Things on Netflix.

Through shows such as “The Walking Dead” and “Game of Thrones” frequently eliminating significant characters each season, viewers have been taken aback by the comparative safety offered by “Stranger Things” during its four seasons thus far.
