Stranger Things Season 5 Trailer: The Epic Finale You Can’t Miss!

2016 saw the debut of the show, and since then, fans have eagerly anticipated its end. This year, we finally get to see the fifth and last season of the series.

Following a prolonged pause between seasons, enthusiasts have been granted a sneak peek into what lies ahead, and the intensity has never been greater. With the Upside Down encroaching upon Hawkins in the penultimate season, the upcoming installment promises to surpass any previous feats of the show. Stranger Things recently revealed its first trailer during Netflix’s Tudum 2025 event, which you can watch below, and also disclosed that it will be released this fall and winter.

On the Kia Forum stage, the Upside Down unexpectedly appeared, while actors Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin came onto the scene. They seated themselves on a set designed to mimic the ’80s era, and played some behind-the-scenes footage from the set – among them, the moment they first encountered the Demogorgon. Gaten Matarazzo joined via recorded video to express gratitude to fans, sharing his preferred scene as the one in the cemetery during Season 4. Unfortunately, Millie Bobby Brown was absent due to filming Enola Holmes 3, but she shared her favorite memory: the helicopter scene from Season 4 as well.

Back in 2022, I was thrilled when it was officially announced that Stranger Things would be returning for a fifth season, hot on the heels of the previous one’s release. However, as a dedicated fan, the wait to uncover the fates of my beloved characters has felt like an eternity. The fourth season plunged us even further into the enigmatic realm of the Upside Down, and the finale left our heroes grappling with some heavy consequences.

As a dedicated movie buff, I can’t wait for Stranger Things Season 5 to unfold in the crisp autumn of 1987 – that’s quite a leap from where we left off back in March ’86. You see, this is the largest time skip we’ve encountered yet; the series started in chilly November ’83, continued with the enchanting fall of ’84, and took us through sunny summer days in ’85. It’s exciting to think about what the next chapter holds!

You won’t be disappointed with the fifth and last season, it’s jam-packed,” Finn Wolfhard, known for his role as Mike Wheeler in the hit sci-fi series, said earlier this year. “Not every episode is a feature-length film, but there are certainly some episodes this season that run longer than usual, almost like standalone mini-films. When you put it all together, it’s like watching several short movies.

The titles of Stranger Things Season 5’s final season have been revealed, as follows: “The Creep,” “The Disappearance of…,” “The Trap at Turnbow,” “Sorcerer’s Quest,” “Shockwave,” “Escape from Camazotz,” “The Crossing” and “Upside Down.

Who Returns to Stranger Things Season 5?

Season 5 marks the continuation of the series, with filming taking place from early January 2024 to the end of the year. The climactic finale is set for December. A host of familiar faces will reprise their roles, including Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Will (Noah Schnapp), Erica (Priah Ferguson), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Robin (Maya Hawke), Steve (Joe Keery), Hopper (David Harbour), and Joyce (Winona Ryder). Max (Sadie Sink) is also set to return, though her role remains uncertain given her comatose state at the end of the previous episode.

It’s revealed that some fresh faces will be joining the cast of Stranger Things for its final season. These newcomers include actors like Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and others, but specifics about their characters are currently being withheld from the public eye.

The premiere of Stranger Things Season 5 happens on November 26th, divided into two volumes. The first volume will air on that date, followed closely by the second volume around Christmas, and finally, the season finale will be out on New Year’s Eve.
