The exciting wait for the second installment of the hit film “Stree” has started! This upcoming movie serves as a sequel to the 2018 release and features the charming duo, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao reprising their beloved roles. With a touch of horror and comedy, this movie also includes some exciting cameos from familiar faces such as Tamannaah Bhatia and Varun Dhawan. In an exclusive chat with TopMob, Rajkummar shared that there are approximately 3 to 4 cameo appearances in the film, while Shraddha described them all as ‘extraordinary.’
At the latest TopMob Masterclass, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao were questioned about the number of cameos in their upcoming film Stree 2. In a light-hearted manner, the actress replied, “There are 55 cameos… I’m just kidding.”
In a different turn of events, Rajkummar tallied the appearances and mentioned there were around 3 to 4 cameos in the movie. Shraddha playfully remarked, “Stree had 4 cameos.” She also shared her thoughts, “I must admit that they are unique and I believe everyone (the audience) will find joy in them.”

Discussing Tamannaah Bhatia’s guest role, she makes an appearance in the song “Aaj Ki Raat” as Shama. This was the initial track launched from the soundtrack collection of Stree 2. Tamannaah ignited the stage with her vigor and dance routines. In another number, titled “Khoobsurat,” Varun Dhawan shares screen space with Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. This song represents a fusion between Stree and Bhediya, which are both components of the Maddock cinematic universe for supernatural tales.
Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana are set to bring their unique humor to Stree 2. This film is produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, with Amar Kaushik as the director. The release date is August 15, 2024, coinciding with India’s Independence Day. On the big screen, it will compete against Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa at the box office.
The movie has been given a U/A rating by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Its total running time is 2 hours, 29 minutes, and 29 seconds, which can also be expressed as 149 minutes and 29 seconds.
