As a dedicated follower and admirer of Rajkummar Rao‘s journey, I find myself deeply inspired by his humble beginnings and remarkable rise to fame. From teaching dance for Rs 300 as a high school student to becoming a household name in Bollywood, Rao’s story is a testament to hard work, dedication, and the power of dreams.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m thrilled to share that come August 15, 2024, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor will grace our screens with the release of Stree 2! Recently, while promoting their anticipated horror-comedy, Rajkummar reminisced about how the original Stree (released in 2018) was a turning point in everyone’s careers.
Rajkummar Rao stated that the initial movie was a significant leap forward for him and his co-stars Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in their acting careers. He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from viewers towards the film, but also expressed high expectations for Stree 2.
Rao shared with News18 his enjoyment during the film’s production, hoping that viewers would be fully entertained and appreciate the dedication everyone poured into it. In closing, he kindly asked the audience to catch the movie at the theater.
In a recent episode of Aapka Apna Zakir, the actor discussed his initial earnings and spending habits when he received his first salary as a dance instructor. He explained that this amounted to Rs 300, which he earned by teaching dance at a girl’s house for six fifty-rupee notes. As his family was financially struggling, the actor used his first income to purchase groceries. Moreover, he also splurged on ghee since having it on their roti was considered a significant treat for them.
Besides being an actor, Srikanth has shared that he’s worked at an American coffee shop too. In a separate note, Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar’s multiple-starred movie, Khel Khel Mein, will be competing for audience attention at the cinema.
