- My Hero Academia will collab with hit mobile game Stumble Guys
- The event will bring exclusive Stumblers, a new ‘quirks’ system and more to the game
- The event is live as of the time of writing
As a long-time fan of both My Hero Academia and mobile games, I couldn’t be more excited about this new collaboration between Stumble Guys and MHA! Having grown up watching the anime and reading the manga, it’s truly amazing to see these beloved characters come to life in a new way.
Scopely’s Stumble Guys is teaming up again with a well-known multimedia franchise, My Hero Academia, which previously made an appearance in Fortnite. This popular manga and anime series will introduce a new level, ability system, and a significant number of its characters as playable Stumblers in the game.
In a universe filled with people possessing unique abilities, My Hero Academia tells the story of Izuki Midoriya, an ordinary individual born without a superpower, or “quirk.” Yet, his lack of powers didn’t hold him back from being noticed for his heroic potential. All Might, a renowned hero, bestowed upon Midoriya a newfound ability. With this new gift, Midoriya embarked on his journey to join U.A. High School, the esteemed institution for aspiring heroes-in-training.
In the latest partnership, players will find more than just an unique challenge course. The game now includes a “quirks” system, adding an extra layer of excitement. Furthermore, numerous characters from the show are available as playable “Stumblers.” Special events, only available for a limited time, reward dedicated players with special perks.
Go beyond
Stumble Guys is partnering again with a well-known franchise, drawing comparison to Fortnite’s collaboration with My Hero Academia. This highlights Stumble Guys’ significant growth, potentially fueled by its large following on mobile platforms.
It’s debatable whether the success of this collaboration between MHA and Stumble Guys is due to hard work or building upon existing concepts. Regardless, fans of both franchises are in for a treat.
