As a seasoned gamer and streetwear aficionado with a soft spot for the ’90s aesthetic, this Subware x NEIGHBORHOOD collaboration has me all hyped up! I remember rocking my old Subware gear back in the day, and seeing this revival of such iconic designs brings back some serious nostalgia. The black knit bomber with the monochromatic colorway is a definite must-have for my wardrobe, and I can’t wait to add more of Stash’s signature style to my collection through this collab.
After resurrecting his Subware streetwear brand this year, Stash has been steadfast in ensuring its resurgence. The esteemed label maintains its homage to classic designs and original pieces in its latest collections, giving a contemporary twist to the iconic styles from the 1990s. For their upcoming coordinated collection, Subware is teaming up with NEIGHBORHOOD, a Japanese brand, for a collaborative effort that combines clothing and accessories.
At the heart of the collaboration lies Stash’s distinctive graffiti aesthetic, which is subtly incorporated into every piece. A sleek black knit bomber jacket catches the eye, featuring a single color scheme and fastened with snap buttons running down its center. On one chest side, a Subware emblem is displayed, while the other bears the words “NEIGHBORHOOD” and “Craft with pride”. The back sports large letters reading “Subware: Visual Maintenance”.
Moving further inside, the pair presents several graphic t-shirts featuring Stash’s artworks, available in both short and long sleeves, each bearing neat co-branding. To finalize the collection, there is also a skate deck created in collaboration, which sports NEIGHBORHOOD graffiti tags running across its center.
Check out the assortment showcased in the lookbook up there, and remember to grab your favorites once they become available on NEIGHBORHOOD’s official online store starting from October 26th.
