As a huge fan of Bryan Greenberg’s acting abilities and his captivating roles, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard about his new projects. In an exclusive interview with MovieWeb, Greenberg discussed his latest project, “Emperor of Ocean Park,” where he stars alongside the legendary Forest Whitaker. He also hinted at the possibility of a “Suits: LA” spinoff.
In a recent interview, we had the pleasure of chatting with actor Bryan Greenberg. This conversation took place as his latest project, the intriguing conspiracy thriller “Emperor of Ocean Park” premieres on MGM+. Set in contemporary America, this engrossing legal series finds Greenberg sharing the screen with Academy Award-winning Forest Whitaker, who plays Judge Oliver Garland in their new production. Additionally, Greenberg has been keeping himself occupied with another intriguing endeavor: a Suits spinoff that will feature Stephen Amell as one of its stars – an individual we had the opportunity to interview earlier this year.
Greenberg shared with MovieWeb about “Suits: LA,” stating, “I haven’t reached the point where we have official approval to discuss it yet, but producing the pilot for NBC was truly a remarkable journey. I enjoy collaborating with Stephen and our entire cast and crew. The script is excellent, and I’ve heard positive feedback. However, there’s still a long way to go, so I prefer not to delve deeper until we have a clear path forward.”
I’m an avid gamer, and I’m thrilled to share that Greenberg is set to take on the role of Rick Dodsen. In this exciting new storyline, I step up as Stephen Amell’s protégé, Ted Black. Once upon a time, Ted was a renowned federal prosecutor hailing from New York City. However, his life took an unexpected turn, leading him to pack up and start a private firm right here in sunny Los Angeles.
Starring With Forest Whitaker Was ‘Everything You Would Hope For’
During this time, Greenberg can be found acting alongside Whitaker in “Emperor of Ocean Park,” portraying Howard, the spouse of journalist Mariah (performed by Tiffany Mack), who is the judge’s daughter. Greenberg shares, “I’ve been incredibly lucky to collaborate with remarkable actors throughout my career. It’s an exhilarating feeling when you check the call sheet and see their names on it, knowing what a unique experience each day brings. I try not to anticipate or form preconceptions about it.”
Working with Forest is a breath of fresh air. He exceeds expectations by being not only skilled but also kind and considerate – exactly what one could hope for.
Bryan Greenberg and Tiffany Mack’s Power Couple
Greenberg discussed how he developed the intricate dynamic between Green and Mack in the project “_Emperor of Ocean Park_.” This engaging story delves into complex relationships like theirs and reveals their past through time jumps. Greenberg expressed, “I thoroughly enjoyed delving deeper into their relationship and characters. Discovering their backstory and witnessing how they came to be was both intriguing and enlightening.”
“I find their connection utterly captivating, these two powerful forces of nature. It makes me wonder, though, how their dynamic plays out when they’re alone together. They can’t both be in charge at once, right? So it seems that Howard takes a backseat in their household, which is not an unusual arrangement, I believe, for married couples.”
Emperor of Ocean Park is now streaming on MGM+. You can watch it through the link below:
