Summoners Kingdom: Goddess guide - 7 tips to pass more stages and upgrade your heroes

As a seasoned player of Summoners Kingdom: Goddess, I wholeheartedly agree with these tips and strategies. With my years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that managing your resources wisely is the key to success in this game.

Reaching the pinnacle in the realm of Summoners Kingdom: Goddess demands patience – plenty of it, and crafting an effective team to conquer every boss isn’t a walk in the park either. I’ll be sharing all my strategies and tactics to help you grasp the game better and make wise choices. With countless hours invested in this game and much trial and error to enhance my skills, I hope my Summoners Kingdom: Goddess guide will prove useful.

Among the tips I’ve shared, I tried to focus on the tasks I find the most useful for beginners, because honestly speaking, the game has a lot of content. Not all of it is beginner-friendly, but if you are trying to play the game seriously, they are all going to be doable.

In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through methods for amassing a bounty of summoning keys, heroes, and strategies for the initial stages of play, making your journey smoother as you progress. Essentially, I’ll provide you with the secret to triumph.

Prior to diving in, let’s touch on the In-App Purchase (IAP) part of our game. You’ll find numerous items for sale within the store, but not all are valuable. For each event, a new pass is introduced that you can purchase – but is it truly worth your money?

To spend or not to spend – a F2P player’s guide to Summoners Kingdom: Goddess

I have not spent a dime in the game, and I believe that you don’t have to in order to clear the content and get lots of rewards. It’s true that investing a couple of bucks
could
make your life easier, but that’s not something you must absolutely do.

As a free-to-play (F2P) gamer myself, I’ve learned some valuable tips and tricks that have greatly improved my gaming experience. If you too appreciate the F2P lifestyle, I invite you to continue reading and benefit from the insights I’ve gathered along the way!

1 Tip #1 – Summoning at all costs?

From the get-go in this captivating game, summoning chances might be scarce. However, keep in mind, there’s a precious code that awards an incredible 100 summons! That’s your first priority. If you haven’t redeemed these codes yet, I recommend checking out my article on Summoners Kingdom: Goddess codes. Happy gaming!

After that, you may commence with completing events and progressing through stages to accumulate more summoning keys. Instead of investing all your Diamonds into the regular gacha, it would be wise to save them for the exclusive one. In my view, this approach is more beneficial as you’ll have an ample number of keys for the normal gacha later on.

At the outset, it’s advisable to utilize Diamonds on the common gacha to build up a basic hero team. Later on, aim to save your Diamonds for the exclusive gacha instead.

2 Tip #2 – Upgrade the right heroes

For enhancing the optimal heroes, there are several key ones that warrant your primary attention. Here they are, also featured in the tier list for Summoners Kingdom: Goddess, and I’m happy to repeat them below:

  • Wukong
  • Horus
  • Raphael
  • Aphrodite
  • Valkyrie

Whenever you can, use these characters to their full potential, and if it’s impossible to get all five of them, choose one from the top tier (as listed). That was my strategy until I managed to acquire them all.

Initially, it might be necessary to enhance some less crucial characters first, as it’s unlikely that you’ll get the optimal five right off the bat. Don’t worry though, since you can reset them if needed. Just remember not to upgrade all your heroes at once, as this could lead to unnecessary resource waste.

You can start them all up

You’re going to get a lot of dupes for all the heroes, so what you can do is use their respective shards to upgrade all of them. Just make sure you don’t spend the universal shards for heroes you won’t use. That is 100% a no-go.

3 Tip #3 – Clear all the daily content and complete events

Day by day, week after week, and month upon month, fresh quests keep popping up (that reoccur), so it’s well worth your time to tackle them as often as possible. These quests provide a wealth of resources, and as a free-to-play player, amassing as many as you can is crucial for your progress.

As for the events, there are so many of them! Where should you start?

Clear all the events

To clear all the events, you should read their requirements first. Some of the events take longer to complete, while others are much more temporary. Check the rewards you get, and if there are events that give you exclusive summoning keys, Diamonds, or hero shards, go for these first. Try to complete as many of them as you can, because if you can get some free heroes from them, it’s big.

Adventure stages

You also have a lot of Adventure stages, which is a lot of content to go through. These are going to give you more keys, notably the Arcade stages. These consist of mini-games like connect-the-dots and puzzles, and you should try to complete them as soon as you can to get your hands on the summoning keys.

Saving Goddess is one of the most important ones since it unlocks Sacred Objects. These can only be completed once you pass certain story stages, which takes us to the next point.

4 Tip #4 – Progress at your own pace, but don’t fall too much behind

To make steady progress and avoid getting stuck in a single level for too long, aim to move forward to Chapter 12 first, then continue advancing according to the improvements made in your characters.

If you require 5 of your heroes to be upgraded in order to proceed with further enhancements at a particular stage, you may encounter obstacles. In such situations, it could be beneficial to tackle as many Adventure stages as possible instead. Completing these levels will provide you with additional resources and also grant some keys for summoning new heroes.

Instead of lingering on a single stage for too long, consider moving forward gradually, even if it means completing one stage each day. As you progress, you’ll find yourself unlocking more and more features.

5 Tip #5 – Resource management: do it like a pro

Let’s talk resources.

Diamonds

Diamonds are the premium currency, and even if the developers are quite generous with them, you shouldn’t waste them. As I mentioned previously, spending Diamonds on the exclusive summon is okay – even better if you can buy wands at a discount (to use in this summon). Don’t spend them elsewhere – you’ll do yourself a disservice.

Gold

You will need a lot of Gold in the end game, so even if you seem to have much more than you can handle early on, try not to spend it all in one place (the Shop). Levelling up your heroes end-game is going to be VERY expensive, and for your gear too.

As a F2P player, Gold should be always on your mind, because when you run out, you will either have to spend your Diamonds or real money to recharge Gold, which is just not worth it.

Among numerous options, these two stand out as particularly significant. In case you find yourself unsure about where to allocate your resources, it’s often wise to hold onto them instead. Having a surplus is generally more beneficial than finding yourself short when hardships arise.

6 Tip #6 – Want to spend money? Choose the right packs

Instead of detailing every pack option, I’d recommend considering the SP Wukong pack for optimal value. Keep in mind that this choice comes with a higher price tag, so feel free to make your decision based on your budget. If you prefer less expensive options, I also have suggestions available for you.

For free-to-play gamers like myself, there’s no need to spend money on the game, but some players may choose to invest a small amount for a pack if they believe it offers good value. If you wish to make an in-game purchase:

  • $9.99 for the Mini Pass – it’s great for getting some wands
  • Monthly packs (Standard Pass, Premium Pass) – these are also good, and you will get lots of Diamonds
  • Arena pass – if you like the Arena gameplay, this is worth getting

There are numerous affordable alternatives available, but the best one for you would depend on your budget and specific requirements. In essence, it’s important to consider your financial capacity and decide what you find valuable. Notably, the Clear Pack, Stage Pack, Ascend Pack, and other smaller packs are quite reasonably priced.

7 Tip #7 – Other tips and tricks

Here are some additional strategies and tactics I’ve discovered for Summoners Kingdom: Goddess that could prove beneficial to fellow enthusiasts:

  • Don’t spend your Home Coins recklessly – spend them on building other buildings, and that will help you get more.
  • Try to complete as many Home Orders as you can for more Home Coins.
  • Place your highest-level heroes in the Oath Temple, and add the lower-level heroes to each one, so they’re linked and share the level.
  • Upgrade Summoning Path every time you increase a hero’s rank. It will grant you additional power.
  • When you open your profile, you will see on the bottom left corner of the screen a Like button. Tap that every day 100 times for free likes.
  • Always buy SSR Shards from the Arena store when you have enough coins.
