- Summoners Kingdom: Goddess introduces a new SSR character with Bonru
- This rabbit-like character is a fearless explorer from the mysterious east
- He arrives as part of a new event with special rewards
As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I have to admit that the gaming landscape is more diverse than ever before, and that’s a beautiful thing! However, sometimes it feels like a needle in a haystack trying to find that one game that truly captivates me. But then along comes Summoners Kingdom: Goddess, a game that has managed to sneak up on me and leave an intriguing impression.
Although Easter hasn’t arrived just yet, the people in Summoners Kingdom seem unaware: The goddess there welcomes a new SSR character, Bonru, who carries a mallet. This hero resembles a rabbit and hails from the enigmatic Far East. He brings along his exclusive limited-time event featuring enticing prizes!
As a gamer, I must admit, Bonru appears quite unconventional at first glance. But delving deeper into his origins, there’s an intriguing tale behind his design. In ancient Eastern mythology, a recurring theme involves a white rabbit residing on the moon, and in Japanese folklore, this lunar bunny is often depicted wielding a massive mallet. Considering the imaginative folk of the Summoners Kingdom, it wouldn’t surprise me if they drew inspiration from this tale for Bonru’s creation.
They will be part of an ongoing event lasting from today (October 9th) until the 15th, which includes daily login incentives, as well as a chance to obtain the Pestle Mallet, a special lottery item for treasure hunting. Additionally, Treasure Hunts, Recharge Events, and other activities will be integrated into the game throughout October!
Summoning circle
In a nutshell, Summoners Kingdom: Goddess is a game that has unexpectedly emerged on the scene, and while it certainly catches the eye, it seems to blend in with the crowd rather than standing out prominently. However, the inclusion of an unconventional character like Bonru gives it a bit more visibility. All in all, Summoners Kingdom appears to be playing second fiddle for now, but here’s to hoping it finds its groove and shines brighter soon!
