According to a source, Aamir was reviewing the initial edit of Lahore 1947 and thought some scenes would benefit from more intense storytelling. He discussed this with Santoshi, and they both felt it necessary to add extra shots to enhance the visual impact of the narrative.

The story unfolds as conflicts arise when this Hindu woman insists on staying and resisting their attempts to evict her.
The film starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta will have Abhimanyu Singh playing an antagonist role. Although the official release date is not confirmed, there are whispers in the industry that Lahore: 1947 might be released on Republic Day 2025.
