‘Superman’ Star Nicholas Hoult Takes on New Role as Save the Children Ambassador

Despite having recently portrayed Superman, Nicholas Hoult has already secured his next assignment – becoming an ambassador for the international humanitarian group, Save the Children.

Actor Erik Holt, known for portraying the antagonist Lex Luthor in the latest DC Studios film, recently visited Rich Mix, a charity and arts center in London, where he interacted with children by conducting a Q&A session and shared insights about his childhood experiences, his role in superhero films, and his acting career journey.

As a proud ambassador for Save the Children on my inaugural day, it was an absolute honor to interact with the children at Rich Mix. Witnessing their enthusiasm during the workshop stirred memories of my own early love for films. It’s evident that these kids are brimming with passion, and meeting the future creatives from diverse backgrounds has been incredibly inspiring. I have no doubt they’re well on their way to realizing their dreams.

Organization Save the Children, known for providing children with essential healthcare and education, has had distinguished ambassadors such as Jennifer Garner, Dakota Fanning, Camila Cabello, and Olivia Wilde in the past. They are delighted to announce Nicholas as their most recent ambassador, expressing gratitude for his consistent support throughout the years. Mabel McKeown, head of corporate partnerships at Save the Children U.K., made this announcement in a statement.

It was delightful to observe the kids’ enthusiasm as they met him at Rich Mix and learned about his cinematic journey – a topic they’re deeply interested in. Save the Children emphasizes that every child deserves the chance to fulfill their dreams, regardless of their circumstances. Today’s workshop with Nicholas has been incredibly motivating for the participating children.

Currently, James Gunn’s movie titled “Superman,” featuring David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, is being shown in cinemas.
