It’s not surprising that Supreme and Martine Rose have teamed up for a collaboration given their history. And now, it’s finally happening! Their Fall 2024 collection is set to excite streetwear enthusiasts with its upcoming release of clothing, shoes, and accessories.
Over the past two decades, London designer Martine Rose has made a significant mark in modern menswear. Her first full runway collection in 2012 set the stage for her unique style, which often questions traditional menswear norms and reshapes ideas of masculinity in today’s fashion landscape. Drawing inspiration from her heritage, she reinterprets everyday clothing items for a fresh perspective. The upcoming Supreme x Martine Rose collection for Fall 2024 takes classic streetwear elements and reimagines them with Martine’s signature flair. In her own words, Martine describes her design philosophy as follows: “I had this broad sense that clothing was associated with different events and atmospheres. I experienced dance and music culture and how they influenced the clothes. It wasn’t just fashion. My family is Jamaican, and there was a strong respect for style. Fashion was more of a basic need; having style was something special.
Supreme’s latest collaboration with Martine Rose emphasizes the popular motocross style, notably in their leather jacket and pant combinations. The partnership between Supreme and Martine Rose is evident throughout the collection, showcasing a variety of items such as down puffer jackets, velour track jackets and pants, sweaters, and more.
In collaboration with Clarks Originals®, the lineup now includes Desert Trek shoes available in three color variations – black, green, and brown – all crafted using crocodile-like leather patterns. The stylish duo, Supreme and Martine Rose, have also created a 44-page black-and-white photo zine to highlight the collection. Notably, the proceeds from this zine will be given to St. Giles Trust, a UK charity that assists individuals struggling with homelessness, addiction, or violence, enabling them to make significant, beneficial changes in their lives.
