As a seasoned gamer who has spent countless hours navigating the virtual skate parks of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and the gritty streets of Skate 3, I can’t help but feel a thrill seeing the Supreme x Thrasher collaboration come to life. The video is a vivid reminder of the adrenaline rush that comes with the real thing – the crackle of the concrete, the whiz of the skateboard underfoot, and the camaraderie of fellow boarders.
After catching a sneak peek of the joint venture between Supreme and Thrasher in their YouTube and Instagram video teasers, I can finally say that the streetwear collection is officially hitting the shelves!
As a dedicated fan, I can tell you that this video offers an exclusive sneak peek into the collaborative project spearheaded by graffiti artist Neck Face, masterfully directed by Johnny Wilson. Wielding a spray paint can, Neck Face teams up with Rowan Zorilla from Supreme, Kevin Bradley, Ben Kadow, Troy Gipson, Vince Palmer, Casper Brooker, and Stu Graham. Together, they rip through the U.K. and Scotland, showcasing the latest collection while rocking it themselves.
In Fall 2021, the Supreme and Thrasher skate labels reunited to launch a new collection showcasing iconic Supreme styles. This latest offering expands the diverse clothing line of both brands. The assortment includes work jackets, sweaters, hoodies, crewnecks, sweatpants, three t-shirts, and two beanies. The items are available in various color schemes, all displaying the combined emblems of both labels. Notably, the work jackets exhibit Neck Face’s iconic devil graphic skateboarding over a flaming Thrasher logo with the “Straight to Hell!” phrase at the bottom. Some sweaters and t-shirts showcase a black-and-white photograph by That’s a Crazy One of the renowned skateboarder Harold Hunter, while Thrasher’s flaming symbol is prevalent throughout. Neck Face’s graffiti font designs the co-branded logos on knit headwear, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and sweatpants.
The worldwide launch of the Autumn 2024 collaboration between Supreme and Thrasher is scheduled for September 26, 11 a.m. EST in the U.S., and September 28 for Asia. You can get it through their streetwear brand’s website on those dates.
