Actors Suriya and Pooja Hegde are gearing up to appear together in director Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming movie titled Retro. It was recently announced that Dr. Jayantilal Gada‘s Pen Studios has joined the project, handling its distribution throughout the Northern Indian market.
Funded by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment in partnership with Stone Bench Creations, the movie “Retro” has been generating excitement due to its unique genre and captivating glimpses of Varanasi. With a nationwide release of its Hindi version on the horizon, involvement from Pen Studios means that the film will be accessible to a broader audience within the Hindi-speaking region.
In collaboration, Pen Studios and Pen Marudhar boast an impressive roster of successful Bollywood films such as RRR, Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt, the first and second installments of Ponniyin Selvan, Ayushmann Khurrana’s Dream Girl 2, Jawan featuring Shah Rukh Khan, the popular sequel Stree 2, and most recently, Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal. These are just a few examples.
