As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for recognizing unique individuals and their dreams, I must say that Sushant Singh Rajput was undeniably one of a kind. His aspiration to travel to Antarctica alone, a dream that remains unfulfilled, is a testament to his indomitable spirit and insatiable curiosity about the world around him.
Sushant Singh Rajput, dearly missed for his impact on Bollywood, passed away on June 14, 2020. His final film appearance was in Chhichhore, which was released in 2019. Recently, Prateik Babbar, one of SSR’s co-stars in Chhichhore, shared that the deceased actor had expressed a desire to travel to Antarctica all by himself. Prateik emphasized how extraordinary Sushant was as a person.
In his recent chat with Filmygyan, Prateik Babbar recalled spending time with the late Sushant Singh Rajput on the set of Chhichhore. Prateik mentioned that he wasn’t particularly close to SSR, but he would always feel a strong presence or energy around him.
The man was quite distinctive, and I will never forget the occasion when we were preparing for a basketball scene. The two of us were situated beneath the basket, just him and I. This is what the actor from Chhichhore recollected.
After hearing SSR’s words, Prateik mentioned, “Friend, I’m planning a trip to Antarctica following the shoot.” It turned out that the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor was taken aback by this revelation, as he realized SSR had always wanted to visit Antarctica all on his own.
Sushant Singh Rajput had dreamt of accomplishing fifty things on his personal wish list. He managed to realize thirteen of these dreams prior to his unexpected passing, leaving twenty-seven unattained. One of the unrealized wishes was a trip to Antarctica. This dream will forever remain incomplete.
In 2019, Sushant publicly revealed a list of 50 aspirations he had on social media. Among them were learning to fly an airplane, preparing for an Iron Man triathlon, playing cricket as a left-hander, and educating children about space.
In the movie Chhichhore, Sushant Singh’s character, Aniruddh Pathak (also known as Anni), and Prateik Babbar’s character, Raghuvir Chalkar (or Raggie), frequently found themselves in disagreement. Nitesh Tiwari directed this film, which also featured Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Naveen Polishetty, Tahir Raj Bhasin, and other notable actors.
In terms of his work, Sushant Singh Rajput was most recently featured in Mukesh Chhabra’s first directorial project, Dil Bechara, which came out in 2020. Sanjana Sanghi appeared alongside him, and the film was released posthumously on Disney + Hotstar.
