Additionally, Eric Roth, an Oscar-winning screenwriter known for “Forrest Gump,” is anticipated to pen the script.

Titled “I Posed as a Missing Girl to Steal from Her Family,” this gripping tale by Joe Cote, a Massachusetts high school English teacher, explores the dangerous repercussions of greed, featuring unexpected twists and turns. Ten years after a family tragically loses their daughter, a stranger arrives at their home with the intention of making off with valuable possessions. However, her plan quickly unravels as she realizes her deceit. Joe Cote will be one of the executive producers for this intriguing project.

The director for this upcoming project remains unannounced, but it’s generating buzz similar to a four-year-old Reddit post. Trevor Engelson from Underground, Aaron Folbe, Steven Schneider of Room 101, Mira Yoon, and Roy Lee from Vertigo are all involved in the movie as well.
