Takashi Murakami’s ‘Giant Artificial Ape ZERO’ Takes Over Thailand Toy Expo 2025

People who love toys, art collectors, and particularly fans of Takashi Murakami, should take notice of this year’s roster at the Thailand Toy Expo in Bangkok. The yearly event held at centralWorld, where numerous toy sellers from around the world gather, will feature Kaikai Kiki Gallery, one of Murakami’s galleries, among its exhibitors for 2021.

At the Expo’s first event, the gallery led by Murakami plans to debut a collection of exclusive toys created by their artists such as Murakami, Shoko Nakazawa, Yusuke Okada, and Ohtani Workshop. One of the most anticipated items in this series is Murakami’s SUPER COLOSSAL ARTIFICIAL APE BEAST ZERO (2025), which shares a striking resemblance to the Beast Titan from the popular anime series, Attack On Titan. This ape-like figurine features a threatening grin and eyes that seem to gaze intensely with a captivating swirl of colors. In stark contrast, Ohtani Workshop’s offering centers around a charming creature called White Tanillo, who has short, plump T-rex arms.

As a passionate gamer, I’ve been eagerly waiting for over five years now for the latest additions to Kaikai Kiki’s lineup. This gaming gear isn’t just any ordinary stuff; it’s the result of a close collaboration between the gallery, their modeling team, sofubi team, and some incredibly talented artists.

These limited-edition items, only 50 pieces in total, will be hitting the shelves soon, complete with trading cards to complement them. And here’s the cherry on top: Original works by none other than Yusuke Okada and Shoko Nakazawa will also grace the gallery’s booth.

If you want to know more about this exciting release, be sure to check out Kaikai Kiki’s website. It’s going to be a game-changer!
