Situated with 120 rooms, the hotel embodies a blend of Greek modernism and the nostalgic charm of ’70s coastal resorts. The Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens, once Fenix Hotel, has preserved its Brutalist architecture while modernizing its essence. The renovated space now boasts a spacious lobby, large pool and poolside bar and dining area, a casual cafe and gallery, rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar. Notably, the all-day French American restaurant, Sebastian, is under the leadership of Athenian chef Elvi Dimitris Zyba, who will be serving seasonal French American dishes accompanied by a carefully selected wine list featuring some of Athens’ finest local natural wines.
Aiming to attract both visitors from outside the city and serve as a vibrant hub for its creative community, this hotel carefully designs a space that welcomes a diverse crowd of guests. Artworks by local contemporary artists, ranging from murals, photography, sculptures, and music, are showcased throughout the hotel. Guests and locals can unwind together at the ground-floor pool and Swim Club. This property shares its unique blend of indoor and outdoor space with its sister location in Palm Springs. Additionally, the hotel has an art program in collaboration with Atelier Ace and ciguë to exhibit modern Greek art to the community. Reservations for rooms can now be made through Ace Hotel.
