Take an Early Look at the PUMA MB.05

As a die-hard basketball enthusiast who’s been following LaMelo Ball’s career since his high school days, I can confidently say that the kid is truly lighting up the court and the sneaker world alike! The MB.05 leaks are just another testament to his knack for making bold moves, both on and off the court.

Last night, I was thrilled to be back with the Charlotte Hornets after a brief absence due to a calf strain. As my fifth season in the NBA unfolds, I’m still racking up more than 30 points per game, but the buzz surrounding my partnership with PUMA Hoops is just as loud!

In just a few months, Ball and PUMA have debuted the MB.04, and already there’s speculation about its successor, the MB.05. A leaked picture reveals seven color variations of the MB.05, suggesting that Ball will continue his trend of bold, vibrant colors. The design isn’t just striking because of the colors; a new pair of wings has been added to the upper, providing a fresh twist on the common motif. Additionally, the “1 of 1” theme, which adds life to the tongue, is also present in this new model.

As I type this, neither LaMelo Ball nor PUMA Hoops have given a release date for the MB.05 shoe. Keep an eye out for announcements, including sneak peeks of these color options, as we anticipate the shoe to be released in the latter part of 2025 by PUMA and select retailers.
